Blessed

Well, sadly this little blog has been neglected for way too long. Kudos to all of you bloggers that can have amazing, well-written entries every week with beautifully edited photos. I'm a big blog failure. My biggest heartache over not keeping up with the blog is that I'm not recoding the memories of our kids. Let's face it. I'm getting older and my memory is failing me. I think the 2nd child just put me over the edge. I'm also not crafty so there is no beautiful scrapbook in the works preserving my children's milestones. So back to the blogging for me.

So here I present to you our newest baby...
Christian Timothy

Born February 17, 2012 and now 9 months old! I can hardly believe it.

It's hard to put into words what each of my kids means to me. I love them so much. I have never been happier in my life. It's the best job in the world being their mom. Yes, we have our rough days. I think almost every day I have a moment where I think I may lose my mind but all the struggles of the day quickly pass after everyone's asleep and I eagerly anticipate waking up with these two munchkins and planning a new day with them.

Christian has had a busy week. On Thanksgiving, he started crawling and also clapping. Both of which he is so proud of himself. He skipped army crawling all together and does a funny crawl where one foot is planted on the floor. It reminds me of Greta's scooting she did for several months.

Greta is ever the proud sister. She will give me the play-by -play of what Christian (or sis-sin) is doing. Today when I stepped outside to let Sofie out I hear Greta screaming "oh no" and she told me Christian had gotten into Sofie's water dish. I also found him chewing on Sofie's bone at one point today and putting another toy of Sofie's in his mouth. Apparently, he is quite fond of dog stuff. I think we will have our hands full now with little guy on the move.

Greta continues to impress us with how she is with her brother. I never imagined she would get along with him as well as she does. She truly loves him. She asks about him right when she wakes up. If Christian is sleeping she wants to wake him up. If we are going somewhere she wants Christian to also come with. She is just the best big sister ever. Today while I was nursing Christian she came on the couch beside me and told me she wanted to hold Christian. He's getting so big that he practically weighs as much as her. He was less than thrilled about sitting in her lap. I bet by his 1st birthday he will be passing her on the scale.

Today was a good day. I love our little life.

Rodan + Fields

Welcome Kelly's Korner readers!

As a former pharmaceutical sales rep, I had gladly put my career on hold to be full-time Mom to my two kids, Greta and Christian. As a self-proclaimed skin care junkie, I had been searching for an over-the-counter cure for my sun damaged and aging skin. Rodan + Fields Dermatologists fell into my lap at the perfect time when I was looking for a job that I could do from home but also mold around our busy schedule while not take any time away from my family by being gone on several nights or weekends.

Drs. Rodan and Fields, who formerly created Proactiv, have since developed four clinically-proven regimens for the treatment of aging skin, sun damage, acne, and skin sensitivities. These regimens were previously available exclusively in Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, and after huge success in retail, were recently moved into direct sales to offer you and I an opportunity for BOTH fantastic skin and financial freedom! I am now able to work 10-15 hours per week from home, profiting from the products of a billion dollar brand, as they revolutionize the 2.5 billion dollar anti-aging market.
I heard about an opportunity to partner with the doctors who created Proactiv Solution on their new skincare line. Proactiv was the #1 selling acne treatment and they are predicting this skincare line created by the same dermatologists to surpass what Proactiv has done. The anti-aging skincare line they created is already getting lots of press and beauty editors talking because of it's efficacy. It's been showcased on the Today Show and in magazines like Oprah, Allure, InStyle, Good Housekeeping, etc. They are predicting a huge expansion in our market in the next few months. And best of all, I'm am seriously having the best time growing my business, coaching my new business partners, and helping my customers feel better about themselves by clearing up skin issues they've dealt with for years and haven't found a product that worked for them before. These uniquely effective skincare products are designed by two of the most respected dermatologists in the country with a legacy of delivering on what they promise. I believe that using Rodan + Fields is as close as you can get to visiting a dermatologist … without an appointment.

There are several products in the Rodan + Fields family but here are the main four regimens along with some before and after customer photos.

The ANTI-AGE Regimen is a comprehensive skincare system that layers cosmetic ingredients and proven peptide technology to visibly firm skin and reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles and enlarged pores.

It's not what you see ... It's what you don't see. Exposure to the sun and the environment can leave you with less-than-youthful skin. Erase the signs of premature aging, including brown spots, dullness, and sun damage with REVERSE. Recognized on Allure Magazine’s A List, REVERSE Regimen exfoliates, lightens, brightens and protects your skin for a more even tone and texture.
Breakouts? Unpredictable? Unreasonable? Unfair? Take control with our UNBLEMISH Regimen. Clinically proven to combat the entire acne cycle, this sophisticated regimen helps unclog pores, clears breakouts and calms your complexion to keep pimples, blackheads and post-acne marks from making an unwelcome appearance on your face—and in your life.

Since many acne sufferers have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), the remnant red/brown marks following a healed blemish, we offer UNBLEMISH Spot Fading Toner. However, if you are one of the lucky few who does not experience PIH, use our UNBLEMISH Clarifying Toner as an alternative.

Calm the flush-blush reaction of a hyper-sensitive complexion with SOOTHE. Clinically proven to reduce redness and irritation in as little as 5 minutes, SOOTHE shields against the biological and environmental aggressors that can trigger inflammation, helps fortify skin’s natural moisture barrier, calms visible redness, and reduces irritation so that you can take comfort in having a healthy-looking complexion every day.

If you are wondering what regimen the Drs would recommend for you. Take the Solution Tool to find out what's right for your skin.

This business is in its infancy. I like to say we are "in the basement" it's such a ground floor opportunity! You don't have parties or need to keep an inventory either. With part-time flexible hours built around your own schedule, you can earn a full-time income or substantially more. Interested in partnering with the Drs who created Proactiv and starting your own business?
To get a "big picture" idea of what we’re doing, watch this brief video and Listen to the Drs talk about Rodan +Fields.

Take a few minutes to watch these brief videos: one from my mentor's good friends, Nicole and Josh Cormany and one from  Sarah Robbins , a former kindergarten teacher and R+F's first millionaire!

Rodan and Fields can truly transform your skin. I have personally witnessed the difference these products have made on people's skin and in their lives. Along with Dr. Rodan and Dr. Fields I am committed to exceeding your expectations and always here to help. If your bank account is not where you want it to be or you long for better skin, you owe it to yourselt to learn how Rodan and Fields can change your life too!

MIA

Why hello. I'm a terrible blogger. This poor little blog has been so neglected. It's not even because of a lack of what to write about. Greta and I have been super busy the last few months with our little jaunts around town but I feel like at the end of the day I'm either exhausted from the pregnancy, wrangling a toddler all day, or trying to catch up on my other work from home job obligations. I uploaded these pictures from a few months ago and then never finished blogging about them so maybe I'll start there...

For the last few years, my grandparents from Iowa along with a few of my grandma's siblings and other extended relatives travel to Rogers, MN and all congregate at the Hampton Inn there for 2 nights/3 days. We start the first night with a potluck. It's fun to catch up with everyone and we always have a great time. Greta did really well entertaining herself at the hotel and wasn't too crabby considering the later than usual bedtime.

The baby stroller and baby provided hours of entertainment.
Here are a few pictures from last year's get-together.

We've also taken a few trips to the MN Children's Museum the last few months.

We were enrolled in a few classes over the last semester. One of the classes was in the evening so Chad was able to join us. Here's Greta getting a ride during the 'gym time' portion at the beginning of the class.
We've had such a mild winter that we've taken lots of strolls outside. Rather than ride in the stroller, Greta loves to walk around our circle.

Greta loved the hand dryer.

Playing with the water and bubbles.

She's obsessed with washing her hands so this was right up her alley.

Hugs for her friend, Cora.
Shortly before Halloween, Greta and I took a trip to a nearby pumpkin farm. She ended up being a little scared of the pumpkins and this is about as close of a picture as I could get.

I've had so much fun with this little girl and am so blessed to be able to stay home with her and enjoy all these fun adventures.
